Establishing Brand Guidelines
When I joined Matium as the Lead Product Designer, I identified several gaps in the design systems within the company. While Matium had a logo, color palette, and type scale, there was no comprehensive documentation to guide the cohesive use of these elements. Within my first two weeks, I created a detailed brand guidelines document to ensure cross-functional teams could consistently and effectively apply our branding.
As part of this effort, I introduced an updated color palette, gradients, and new font pairings designed to work harmoniously within both the product and marketing materials. I also incorporated considerations for content messaging to align visual and verbal communication seamlessly.
